for Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers
The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers is a non-profit organization managed by a coalition of students and professors. SHPE takes pride in engineering and implementing intensive programs that are designed to increase the participation of Hispanics and other ethnic minorities in the fields of engineering and engineering technologies.
In the pursuit of this bold mission, SHPE operates from a university and professional chapter base, which is supported by regional as well as national leadership and experience. Working off a unique and innovative interaction between students and professionals, SHPE initiates its many programs throughout the Hispanic and ethnic minority communities.
