PLANIT PURPLE

The Cellular and Molecular Basis of Disease (CMBD) Training Program at Northwestern University is an interdisciplinary and cross-campus program that provides state-of-the-art training for pre-doctoral students. Its mission is to prepare pre-doctoral students in the early stages of their scientific careers to conduct multidisciplinary research that is ethically responsible, rigorous, and reproducible. It does so by facilitating the development of not only those skill sets needed to advance science in general, but also those that require expertise in cutting-edge technologies, as well as deep analytical and quantitative reasoning skills.
