NU Thrift aims to promote a circular economy of reusing, repairing, and upcycling by diverting clothing and dorm necessities from Northwesternâs waste streams and redistributing these items to serve the Northwestern community at large, including faculty, staff, and students. We hope to make sustainable consumption accessible by organizing a local source for affordable thrifting directly on campus with the first-generation/low-income community at the forefront of our leadership and operations.
