Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
1. Provide an overview of how to prevent catheter-associated urinary tract infection (CAUTI), one of the most common healthcare-associated infections in the world.
2. Describe “implementation science” and how it can be used to enhance patient safety.
3. Outline approaches for translating research findings into everyday practice that clinicians can use to prevent CAUTI.
