The Northwestern Impossible Challenge was founded to find real solutions that mitigate complex global problems. Climate Change has been selected as this year's target problem. Multidisciplinary student research teams of four to five members each will use a simple methodology to evaluate one of four plausible solutions (or propose their own) and prepare persuasive justification to engage stakeholders. Teams will be assigned faculty and outside advisors, given a stipend, and compete for a $5,000 cash prize.
This program is sponsored by the Buffett Institute for Global Studies, the Farley Center for Entrepreurship and Innovation and the Institute for Sustainability and Energy at Northwestern.
To apply for the program, visit isen.nu/nic15 and fill out the short application. You may apply as an individual or as a team of up to 3 people. Deadline for all submissions is October 25, 2015 at 11:59 p.m.
