Description:

Between March 14 and May 10, 2018 more than 50 Brazilian and Portuguese novelists, poets, illustrators and essayists will participate in this fifth edition of the Brazilian Literary Spring which will be held in four European countries (in France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany) and for the first time in the United States. Debates, readings, poetic meetings, writing workshops and book launches are planned in institutional spaces, cultural centers and bookstores, but also in many universities, high schools and primary schools.

The Printempts Litteraire in the U.S. is co-sponsored by the Northwestern University Department of Spanish and Portuguese, the Alice Kaplan Institute for the Humanities, The Buffet Insititute for Global Studies, the Center for the Writing Arts and the Consulate General of Brazil. Organizers: César Braga-Pinto (Northwestern
University) and Leonardo Tonus (Sorbonne Université).
