Description:

Are you working with data too big for spreadsheets or your laptop and not sure what to do next? Is it taking forever to analyze your data and you're looking for ways to speed things up? In this workshop we will present strategies and tools that will help you manage and analyze data at large scale (think tens of gigabytes up to terabyte-sized data). We will discuss compression, data transfer and storage, tools, general approaches to data analysis, and decisions and tradeoffs to consider.
