Motivating students in an online setting

Thursday, August 27, 2020 | 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM CT
Online

How can we motivate and engage students in online learning contexts? Right now, it may seem particularly challenging to keep students motivated to learn and to complete their work. In this interactive session, participants will reflect on key principles of motivation, as well as strategies for helping students stay motivated in asynchronous and synchronous contexts.

This workshop is a part of the Practicum for Online Teaching which is a partnership between AccessibleNU, the Libraries, the School of Professional Studies, the Searle Center for Advancing Learning & Teaching, and Northwestern Information Technology.
