NUvention is the Farley Center's signature, interdisciplinary course series. NUvention courses are designed to expose students to the entire innovation and entrepreneurial life cycle, helping them understand how innovations can become viable businesses in the real world. In winter quarter 2022, the Farley Center will run two courses from the series, NUvention: Energy and NUvention: AI Analytics.
NUvention: Energy (ENTREP 474, ISEN 420) responds to the demand for innovation and entrepreneurship in the sustainable energy and cleantech space that will increasingly be required to deal with climate change, resource constraint, and other environmental challenges. More details here: https://www.farley.northwestern.edu/programs-and-support/nuvention/energy.html
NUvention: AI Analytics (ENTREP 475) focuses on the intersection between software (AI), hardware (IoT), data (analytics), and business. The course is a unique opportunity for passionate students and future entrepreneurs to journey through the formation of a commercial technology startup. More details here: https://www.farley.northwestern.edu/programs-and-support/nuvention/analytics.html
Join us for a virtual info session from noon to 1 PM (Central Time) on Monday, November 1 to learn more about these courses. A faculty member from each class will offer a short presentation, and there will be ample time for questions. All current Northwestern students are welcome to attend, but registration is required. Registrants will receive instructions for joining the session from a Farley Center representative on the morning of the event. In the meantime, questions can be directed to farley@northwestern.edu.
