Dr. Allen will present results from a study examining the impact of Medicaid expansion on emergency department wait times and throughput, key indicators of emergency department crowding.

Dr. Lindsay Allen is an assistant professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Feinberg School of Medicine, as well as the IPHAM Buehler Center for Health Policy and Economics. As a health economist, she studies the way state and federal policies affect health care access and costs, especially for marginalized populations.
