The Panelists include Tymofiy Mylovanov, President of Kyiv School of Economics; Donald Bowser, International Anticorruption and Security Advisor; Daniil Cherkasskiy, Founder of Ukraine Trust Chain; Natalia Mytsuta, Team Leader at Ukraine Trust Chain & Founder of the “Vyshnia” Volunteer Center. 

The discussion will be moderated by Jordan Gans-Morse, Associate Professor of Political Science and Russian, Eurasian, and East European Studies Research Program (REEES) Faculty Director, Northwestern University.

More about the panelists:

Tymofiy Mylovanov is the President of Kyiv School of Economics, which has been playing a central role in the delivery of humanitarian aid to Ukrainians in need, and an advisor to Ukraine's presidential administration. During his professional career, he has taught at a number of European and American universities, including Rheinische Friedrich–Wilhelms–Universität Bonn, the University of Pennsylvania and University of Pittsburgh.  Tymofiy’s research interests cover such areas as theory of games and institutional design, and he has been published in leading international academic journals including Econometrica, American Economic Review, the Review of Economic Studies.

Donald Bowser is an international anticorruption and security expert with over 25 years of experience advising organizations including the UNDP, the World Bank, Transparency International, and anticorruption agencies in multiple countries. He has worked extensively in Ukraine. Since Russia's invasion, he has been engaged in founding, fundraising, and implementing the ‘Protect People in Ukraine’ project that delivers non-lethal military assistance to the military forces in Ukraine. 

Daniil Cherkasskiy founded Ukraine TrustChain shortly after the start of Russia's invasion to fund volunteer teams in the Ukrainian front line cities. To date Ukraine TrustChain has raised and deployed over $500,000, funding more than 26,000+ evacuations, providing humanitarian aid to thousands of people weekly. In his previous life Daniil was a Chief Analytics Officer of ShowingTime, a prominent real estate tech firm acquired by Zillow in 2021. He remains the Director of Analytics at Zillow Group.

Natalia Mytsuta was a successful realtor and the Vice President of Regional Development for the Association of Real Estate Professionals of Ukraine. Currently, Natalia also leads a large volunteer team recently registered as the “Vyshnia” Volunteer Center. Her efforts concentrate on the most urgent opportunities for providing humanitarian aid and she is recognized as one of preeminent forces in humanitarian relief efforts to help Ukraine.
