Text mining is a valuable research tool for the social sciences and the humanities. This workshop will introduce you to large-scale text analysis by exploring contemporary research examples. Then we’ll outline how you can use library resources to build textual data sets and apply text mining techniques.
This workshop is geared toward Northwestern students, staff, and faculty. It will be presented via Zoom by Basia Kapolka, Digital Humanities Librarian; and Sarah Thorngate, Data Analysis Librarian.
