Ethics Consultation Through a Justice Lens
Cognitive-communication adaptations in ethics consultation through a justice lens disability ethics is anchored by a commitment to an inclusive process that uplifts the autonomy of individuals with disabilities and underscores a commitment to justice and equity. Using illustrative case studies from our practice, we focus on clinical ethics and supported communication approaches that promote the inclusion and accommodation of individuals with cognitive and communication impairments.
This lecture is open to the public and will be held in the Searle Seminar Room in the Lurie Research Building (303 E Superior), Chicago Campus. For those outside the Chicago area and anyone who would prefer to attend remotely, a Zoom option is also available.
