In this session, Political Science department staff will go over best practices for a wide variety of PhD student professional activities, sharing recommendations for working with staff and administrators within the department and across Northwestern.

Goals: Meet &/or reconnect with Political Science Staff Discuss expectations & best practices when working with staff. Learn about what it's like to be a staff member at Northwestern Political Science. Get an overview of the work we do to make sure the NU Political Science is a special place. Understand the challenges and opportunities that emerge for PhD candidates in a siloed R1 institute.
