Enhance your map-making skills in this intermediate workshop focused on creating static maps with ArcGIS Pro and QGIS. This session will explore intermediate aspects of map design, including symbology, custom layouts, and effective data presentation techniques. By the end of the workshop, participants will have hands-on experience in producing and sharing static maps suitable for publications, posters, or presentations. While familiarity with spatial data and GIS is preferred, it is not required.

Prerequisites: Participants will have the opportunity to work through examples using ArcGIS Pro and QGIS. To download and install QGIS, please visit: https://qgis.org/.
