"The Creation of Sound and the Sound of Creation", with Victoria Hanna
Victoria Hanna is a celebrated, multi-disciplinary vocalist, performer, and artist. Her compositions move between ancient sounds and contemporary beats, between philosophical and religious texts. Her music explores the boundaries of the human voice, plays with the Hebrew alphabet, and pushes the boundaries of traditional Jewish texts in captivating leaps and bounds. Hanna’s sound and video installations have been displayed in the Eretz Israel Museum, Jewish Museum Vienna, Jewish Museum Frankfurt, and Museo d’Arte Moderna di Bologna. Her performance art has been exhibited at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, BAM, and the New York Kitchen. She has been named one of the most influential women in Israel by Forbes magazine.
“The freshest, edgiest, weirdest artist on the Israeli airwaves today.” PRI’s The World
