Presented in conjunction with the exhibition Woven Being: Art for Zhegagoynak/ Chicagoland, our Woven Being Community Room is a dedicated space within the exhibition for conversation, reflection, laughter, and relaxation. It's open during our regular museum hours and while it is designed to center our Indigenous community, it is open to all.
On the first Wednesday evening of each month, stop by and join us for informal conversation and activities related to the themes of the exhibition. Drop-ins welcome and encouraged.
On February 5, we invite you to get to know the Community Room and the Block team. Join us for informal conversation about the exhibition, and the creation of the community room. We’re excited to enjoy the space with you.
