The Great Lakes Adiban Society is a regional forum for scholars of Islamicate adab, particularly of the medieval and early modern periods. This event is generously supported by multiple programs and departments at Northwestern including the Keyman Modern Turkish Studies Program, the Middle East and North African Studies Program, the History Department, the Department of Religious Studies, the Buffett Institute, the Kaplan Institute, and the South Asia Research Forum.
