Description:

The Philosophy Department's Post-Kantian and Continental Philosophy Workshop series is hosting Northwestern Alum, Professor Kurt C.M. Mertel from Columbia University and the American University of Sharjah to present a précis of  his new book, Re-Thinking the Sociality of the Self: The Emancipatory Project of Being and Time, followed by Q&A. The talk will be held from 11am-1pm, location is TBD.

Profesor Mertel is also willing to distribute e-copies of his new book. If you would like one such copy, please email Abigail directly (abigail.iturra@u.northwestern.edu). This is optional. The talk will not presuppose participants having read the book in advance.
