Join us for an informal lunchtime conversation with Aaron Darrisaw from the Buffett Institute for Global Affairs, along with past Buffett funding recipients from Political Science. The session will provide an overview of major fellowship and research funding opportunities available to graduate students. Speakers will share tips on crafting strong applications and navigating the selection process. Time will be reserved for Q&A. Lunch will be provided.
Aaron Darrisaw is Program Manager for the Roberta Buffett Institute’s Research & Programs team. In this role, he administers graduate student programming and funding opportunities to advance promising global research. Previously, he served as an editorial assistant for the academic journal Continental Philosophy Review. He earned his PhD in philosophy from Southern Illinois University, and he enjoys dancing and hanging out with friends in the park during his free time.
