Description:

This virtual workshop will provide an in-depth review of the AAMC competencies, personal statements, and secondary applications. Participants will also have a one-on-one feedback session with an application reviewer. Before You Apply: Application Prep Done Right is designed to support students who have experienced social, economic, and/or educational disadvantages in their journey to medical education, come from disadvantaged backgrounds, and/or who represent groups that are known to be underrepresented in health-related sciences and medicine. 

Applicants must anticipate submitting an AMCAS application for the 2027 or 2028 entering class. Current cycle applicants are not eligible to apply. Applicants must also be either a US citizen or hold DACA, permanent resident, or asylee/refugee status.
