Nicola Plastow is an associate professor in the Division of Occupational Therapy at Stellenbosch University in South Africa. She was a research fellow of the British Geriatrics Society, and is currently a Stellenbosch University SUNRISE and Teaching Fellow. As a justice-orientated occupational therapist, her work focuses on promoting health and wellbeing by supporting people from marginalised communities to participate in the everyday activities that they want, need and have to do.
