Please join the Organization of Women Faculty and The Women's Center for a day of celebrating Northwestern's many caregivers! This afternoon on the Plex lawn aims to entertain kids and make available to adults information about resources on or near campus.
Bring your kiddos and to play in the Bounce House (ages 4 and under between 3 and 4pm; all ages 4pm-6pm), have their faces painted, hear a good story, win prizes, and play lawn games. Enjoy a full dinner for the whole family plus a visit to the CW Ice Cream Truck. And while the little ones play, come and see what the Women's Center, OWF, and other orgs and units are up to.
A few useful notes:
Festivities are probably most appealing to kids under ten, but all are welcome. We have art supplies that are all ages.
There will be a low-sensory section of the lawn and inside the women's center house reserved for anyone who needs a break.
Dinner will be catered by Tomate Fresh and will include vegetarian options.
We have two all gender bathrooms on site. One has a changing table.
We have a lactation room on site with a refrigerator and sink.
It is up to you how you define family! Bring those people!
