As one of the most enduring and widely represented subjects in modern literature, the Holocaust has been interpreted by survivors and authors alike across a diverse range of genres. From memoirs such as Night by Elie Wiesel, to diaries such as The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank; from historical fiction such as Number the Stars by Lois Lowry, to poetry such as “Daddy” by Sylvia Plath, literary representations of the Holocaust continue to proliferate across languages, forms, and generations. Together, speakers will explore the complexities, challenges, and evolving forms of Holocaust representation in literature.
Join this Highlight Event to hear how leading scholars in the Holocaust Educational Foundation's Virtual Speakers Bureau could bring their expertise into your classroom.
