Global Economics in the Age of Disruption: A Student-Led Buffett Symposium

We have entered an age of profound disruption driven by geopolitical, environmental, and social forces. But beneath all of these forces lie urgent economic questions that will shape where we end up. What incentives can push governments, businesses, and individuals to protect the planet?  What are the costs and tradeoffs of war, and who bears the brunt of them? And how might migration reshape the world decades from now?

Join us for Global Economics in the Age of Disruption, a student-led Buffett Symposium, to explore these questions with leading thinkers from around the globe.  Scholars, practitioners, and advocates from a variety of fields and perspectives will examine the economic dimensions of war, climate change, and migration, debating what a more just global economy might look like and require.

Please note that 720 University Place is not an ADA-accessible space. Increasing physical access to buildings and facilities is a goal of the University, but not all buildings and venues have been updated.
