What does it take to launch your career at a liberal arts college? Join alumni from our Political Science PhD program who now teach at teaching-focused institutions for a discussion about navigating the academic job market. Panelists will share insights into what hiring committees value, how to present your teaching experience effectively, and how expectations at liberal arts colleges differ from those at research universities. Especially encouraged for graduate students considering careers at liberal arts colleges or strengthening their teaching profile for the job market.

Nathalia Justo, Assistant Professor of Political Science at Grinnell College

Zhihang Ruan, Assistant Professor of Political Science at Hunter College, CUNY
