Part of the Winter Chamber Music Festival
Lucy Wang and Hao Zhou, violin; Aiden Kane, viola; Tate Zawadiuk, cello
Winner of a 2025 Avery Fisher Career Grant, the Viano Quartet has made a name for itself as “an electrifying collective” (Boston Classical Review) since its First Prize win at the 13th Banff International String Quartet Competition. Highlights of the quartet’s 2025-26 season included debut performances at London’s Southbank Centre, Dublin’s National Concert Hall, the Fortas Series at the Kennedy Center, and a mainstage full recital debut at the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. Their collaborations included mandolinist Avi Avital, pianist Stephen Hough, clarinetist Anthony McGill, cellist Zuill Bailey, and singer-songwriter Vienna Teng. In Summer 2026, the group premiered Reena Esmail’s String Quartet No. 2: Dhara at Chamber Music Northwest.
Cost: Single tickets are $40 for the general public and $15 for students with valid ID. Subscriptions are also available.
