The Medill School’s Local News Initiative and the Roberta Buffett Institute for Global Affairs invite Northwestern University faculty, students, and staff to a roundtable conversation with the World Press Institute fellows—leading journalists, news anchors, and news producers from around the globe. They are visiting the U.S. to exchange knowledge about the present and future of news production and circulation worldwide. They’ll share insights from their respective countries and learn from the Medill Local News Initiative’s insights from Chicago and beyond. This is an open discussion: you’re invited to come and share your own insights and ask questions. No preparation is required; the fellows and facilitators will have some remarks prepared to launch the conversation.
This event is open to Northwestern University faculty, students, and staff from any department. Refreshments will be served.
