Description:

Please join the Institute for Global Health for our "First Friday" Seminar Series! This webinar will be available through Zoom, and registration is required in order to receive information to join. All that register will receive a link that is unique to them.

We will be joined by Brian W. Simpson and Dayna Kerecman Myers, editor-in-chief and managing editor of Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health's Global Health NOW, to discuss global health reporting through not only an election year, but also during a pandemic.

As a key forum for news and information for the global health community, Global Health NOW (GHN) is a free weekday e-newsletter, delivering exclusive stories and commentaries, breaking news, and news summaries related to global health.

This webinar is co-sponsored by the Institute for Public Health and Medicine (IPHAM), Northwestern Medicine's Department of Preventive Medicine, Buffett Institute for Global Affairs, and Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.

The Institute for Global Health Seminar Series is held the first Friday of each month, September through July, and will feature the research and ideas of outstanding global health leaders at Feinberg, the larger Northwestern community, and beyond.
