The Buffett Institute invites Northwestern students to an afternoon tea for discussion with leading strategists, researchers and activists championing abortion rights around the world. Join us to learn about their career paths and experiences in the field of reproductive justice and human rights.
Co-sponsored by Northwestern University's Women’s Center, GlobeMed and the Northwestern Coalition for Human Rights (NUCHR), this gathering is a prelude to the upcoming Buffett Symposium on global abortion access. The daylong event will convene leading strategists, researchers, medical practitioners and human rights advocates from Colombia, Ireland, Kenya, Poland and the U.S. to discuss movements, strategies and the question of how abortion—a very private issue—has become a matter of foreign policy.
Please note that 720 University Place is not an ADA-accessible space. Increasing physical access to buildings and facilities is a goal of the University, but not all buildings and venues have been updated.
